Dry barrel hydrants
With the fewest number of parts of any hydrant manufactured, AVK’s modern and nostalgic versions are simply the easiest to maintain, while also delivering higher flow rates. The unique and indestructible, one-piece valve carries a 25 year warranty.
Available in ductile iron, or stainless steel for corrosive environments, AVK’s wet barrel hydrants provide superior flow and low maintenance. When equipped with the FlowGuard II hydrant check valve, accidental damage will not result in a geyser and flooded streets.
AVK’s innovative gate valve design incorporates stainless steel stems, a unique bolting and gasketing system, and proprietary wedge technology to provide the gate valves that introduced a 10 year warranty to the US water industry. Expect long life and zero failures.
AVK provides check valves in two different styles: swing check and ball check – for use in potable water and wastewater applications. Both are designed for superior flow rate, while also providing the easiest access for maintenance.
The Series 145 is the only gate valve designed specifically for use in fire protection applications. UL/ULC listed and FM approved butterfly valves, check valves, post/wall indicators, and bronze trim valves complete the package of valves for indoor fire protection.
HDPE ball valves and butterfly valves for direct fusion to HDPE pipe. Standard ball valves are available in several DR ratings for universal use with either water or gas. Quarter turn butterfly valves may also be fused or bolted into HDPE systems for industrial applications.
Two designs include concentric disc on valves up to 24” and double eccentric on larger diameter valves, up to 48”. Stainless steel stems and superior sealing technology result in valves that will last longer and not leak.
AVK’s eccentric plug valves are quarter-turn with an obstacle-free bore, adapted for pump control shut-off and throttling service in applications where wastewater is contaminated with fibrous particles or hydrocarbon residues.
