Gearing and Actuation
American AVK can provide gearing or actuation on all valve types and sizes. Gearing is recommended for larger diameter gate valves.
Features
- Spur Gearing – with operating nut or handwheel, in line with body of valve
- Bevel Gearing – with operating nut or handwheel, perpendicular to valve body
- A complete line of motor actuators is available
- Gearbox or actuator manufacturer and type may be specified by customer or selected for the application by AVK Engineering
- Any AVK valve can be supplied with a keyed stem and mounting plate, ready for gearing or actuation
